Seriously though folks, does anyone know what happened to the new MOTU toys? One day they just up and disappeared, like they were all abducted by aliens or something. <sigh> I never did get an Evil Lynne and I was really looking forward to getting a Clawful, Mossman, Stinkor, etc... -

Fri, July 9, 2004 - 10:37 AMOfficial word from Mattel is that the toys weren't succesfull for the domestic market, but will still be distributed in Canada!?! and Europe. Mattel Europe has already released a Keldor figure (yup!, the exclusive from last years comiccon is now available to everyone in Germany).
The tv show was also cancelled because of "poor" performance.
Your best bet at getting the toys is e-bay. Evil-Lyn is down to $20 or so.
On a related note, this year's comic con exclusives are ...She-Ra figure (with rooted hair) and a Hordak Bust. -

Mon, February 28, 2005 - 6:01 AMthese figures are everywhere in the uk now, especially the snake men range - i'm totally bummed the new series didn't do too well - I thought as 'remakes' go it was pretty good (altho not happy with the sorceress) everyone else looked great though!
Managed to get hold of the limited edition she-ra figure they made for the toy covnention, they had keldor too but it was going for £100 pounds (that's like $152 dollars) - not cheap! -

Now if only some janky ass knock offs could be made from molds created from these statues and sold as articulated figures on the black market! That would be fukken sweet. -

OMG, that's totally freaky! A grizzlor statue with fur? I wonder if you'd have to comb it out every now and then lol I hope someone spends their money on a Grizzlor and then removes all the hair so I won't have to :D
